The BCO Award-winning ONYX is a full refurbishment of the former Eagle Building in Bothwell Street, Glasgow which was originally constructed in 1992 and is now owned by CEG.

The project comprises refurbishment of all office floorplates together with the fundamental reorganisation of the entrance area and ground floor suite creating a flexible co-working environment as an amenity for the entire building.

A new three storey entrance element leads to a fully refurbished entrance hall and building amenity area containing a café bar/flexible co-working areas and bookable meeting facilities.

A complete lower basement floor of new cycling, changing and drying facilities has been provided together with flexible weight training rooms and maintenance areas.

Grace Lewis, Investment Manager CEG

“ONYX is the home of Cooper Cromar which made the design, and the award win, all the more special. The new facilities, including the café and cycling amenities, along with CEG’s approach to health, wellbeing and productivity of those based in its buildings, has created a fantastic working environment for our fast-growing team."

Awards
