Cooper Cromar joined forces with CEG, Troup Bywaters + Anders and Innes Building Consultancy to host the event ‘Achieving Net Zero in Existing Buildings’ highlighting the ‘Build Better Now’ campaign in support of UK GBC during COP26.
The event was showcased at CEG’s ONYX building which is a classic example of how an existing building can be refurbished to a high-quality spec for new occupiers, all while paying significant attention to cutting operational carbon emissions.
We highlighted the route map to reduce embodied carbon in refurbishment projects featuring buildings such as ONYX, 310 St Vincent Street, 58 Waterloo Street, 6 Atlantic Quay and The Met Tower.
To achieve net zero ambitions, refurbishment is an important option!
